Wild Mushroom Medley
Wild harvest mushroom mix includes some of the following: Chanterelle, Black Trumpet, Oyster, Lobster, Old Man of the Woods and Maitake. Simply rehydrate these in water and use in your favorite mushroom recipes for heightened flavors. This blend complements any meats, poultry and fish and infuses a concentrated mushroom flavor into pastas, rice, gratins and stir fries. Add earthiness to red wine sauces, enrich creamy soups or add gusto to egg dishes, these mushrooms are incredibly versatile.
Always reconstitute dried mushrooms before consuming. To rehydrate, soak in warm water for 30 minutes (or 2-5 minutes in boiling water). Preserve liquids for use in recipes. 1 oz mushrooms = @ 4-6 oz fresh. Store in freezer in a sealed freezer bag or keep sealed in a cool, dry place for up to 18 months. Keep out of sunlight and moisture.
